Come down for a relaxed night before the Two Bays Snapper Challenge kicks off. Have a drink, grab some food, meet other fishos, ask questions about the comp and have a chance to win some free gear.
Before it all starts
Before the Two Bays Snapper Challenge gets underway, we're getting everyone together for a relaxed pre-fish meeting at BMYS.
We'll go through the competition rules, answer questions, give away some prizes and have a few drinks and nibbles with competitors, sponsors and other fishos.
It's completely free and completely optional. You don't have to attend to compete — but if you're around, we'd love to see you there.
The pre-fish meeting is completely optional. Competitors do not have to attend the meeting to fish the Two Bays Snapper Challenge.
It's simply a chance to get everyone together before the comp, explain the rules, answer questions and have a good night with other anglers, sponsors and supporters.
The details
On the night
A rules run-through, a feed, a few prizes and a chance to meet the people you'll be fishing against.
Everyone attending goes in the draw for prizes on the night.
No cost to attend and no cost to enter the door prizes.
Brett and David will go through the major rules of the Two Bays Snapper Challenge and answer questions from competitors.
If there's anything you're unsure about, this is the spot to ask before the comp begins.
Come down, have a drink, grab something to eat and catch up with other fishos before the comp.
Meet other anglers, teams, fishing clubs, sponsors and the people involved with the Two Bays Snapper Challenge.
Sponsors and businesses involved with the comp are encouraged to come down too.
It's a good chance to meet competitors and the people behind the event.
Toward the end of the night we're planning a short pre-competition rev-up talk.
Possum will help fire everyone up for the comp, with Dale Carpenter also possibly joining us.
Rules night
Brett and David will take everyone through the important Two Bays Snapper Challenge rules and answer questions from competitors.
Whether it's fish verification, photos, videos, daily codes, team rules, club rules or anything else you're unsure about, come down and ask before the competition starts.
More than a meeting
The night is also about getting everyone together.
Have a beer or a drink, grab something to eat, meet other competitors and catch up with the people and businesses supporting the Two Bays Snapper Challenge.
Whether you're fishing solo, with a team, representing a club, sponsoring the event or just involved in the fishing community, you're welcome to come down.
